Design Process

My design journal serves as the foundation of my creative process—a space where I explore, test, and bring every idea to life. Through my studies in interior architecture, I have learned to visually communicate spatial concepts while connecting deeply with the emotional and sensory aspects of design.

Drawing from my passion for visual art, I use a range of tools and materials, including Procreate, watercolour, fine ink pen, oil pastels, charcoal, and mixed media, to bring richness and diversity to my pages. These mediums help me experiment with light, texture, and form, capturing the mood and narrative of a space long before it reaches the presentation stage.

Each entry reflects iterative thinking- whether through layered sketching, conceptual diagrams, or reflective annotations- and serves as a visual dialogue between inspiration and outcome. My journals are where I explore user experience, materiality, and environmental context, making them essential in shaping my design direction.
From raw sketches to refined spatial compositions, this journal-led process has been instrumental in developing the clarity and creativity of my final design presentations. It's where my ideas bloom and transform abstract thought into the grounded, human-centred design.
